Natural history illustrations
 

This page features a series, called Gothic Twilights that was created as a part of my graduate portfolio module. They are back-lit mixed media illustrations which merge my interests in natural history subjects, imbuing them with a dark, gothic inspired aesthetic. In this series I combinined techniques such as cyanotypes, ink paintings, fine line pen drawings, repeating patterns, as well as working with gold leaf.
